These charming bowls were born from a conversation with a worker in the local lumber industry. Lumber requires extensive care, and the need for locally-grown wood is declining every year due to cheap imported materials. In order to create a demand, Takata Seisakusho has combined their cast products and local wood to create a playful bowl that’s perfect for serving roasted nuts or small snacks; as you munch on, you’ll find an adorable mini tin sculpture at the bottom!
